A Mothers Letter To Santa"What do I want to get my children for Christmas?" I was asked one day and my first thought was this toy or that, new clothes and what have you. Then as the season wore on, seeing the crowds in the malls, the shows on TV, the collections for charity that only seem to pop up at this time of the year I began to rework my Christmas list and decided to write a list to Santa myself. But how would one do that at my age? It had been so long since I had written Kris Kringle.  Sneaking into my daughters room late at night I took a piece of blank paper and a few crayons. Another image inspired by Groove Coverage's video of Alice Coopers song Poison.

I am rather happy with the results of this image, the 10 hour render time was more than worth it in my book.

I adore the textures and the strikingness (is that a word?) of this piece. I've always had a soft place in my heart for black and white photographs because of the way it looks; it's easier to see contrast and capture amazing details such as the individual scales of the snake in your piece.
I love how the softness of the woman's lips strikes with the snake's skin. It really sets off the piece. And of course I'm loving the concept :D keep of the amazing work because it would be shame to stop now.
